Start Reading HERE
This page should be in the EDIT view. This means that you see a white box with a set of icons at the top and a scrollbar to the right. If you see a brown page with brown text, click the EDIT button on the toolbar at the upper left.
In the first line from the top, replace "Your Name Here" with your name as you want it to appear on the author page. You can use your real name, your non deplume, whatever works for you. The phrase :title should remain on the left and a :) should remain on the right of your whatever you enter.
In the third line from the top, replace "Enter a line of text about you." with a line of text about you. This line appears on the page list of authors. You can put in one word or ten words or up to two lines of text. If you choose not to put anything in at this time, that's okay, too. You can come back at any time to edit this page. The phrase (:description should remain on the left and a :) should remain on the right of your whatever you enter.
Now hit the SAVE button at the bottom - then hit that edit button on the upper right toolbar.
You're back to the white entry box. You'll notice that you didn't see much except this text in the box, but that's OK - it will fill in by itself when you start creating new pages. All you should see is your name and a link to the AUTHORS page.
One more step before you head back to the AUTHOR HELP page (see the Menu on the left side of the page?).
Now, delete all of the text from "Start Reading HERE" to the bottom of the page and then hit the SAVE button. Go ahead. It's OK. I'll see you again in step two on the AUTHOR HELP page.
