Phileas Fogg’s Most Famous Mission
Route
Rebecca and Roger traveled North from Bombay, which is on the western coast through British held territories zig-zagging across Southern India. To get to the Estate of where their adventure escalated the crossed the Taptei River into the Satpura Hills. This was a borderland where British and Native Indian held territory met in Central India. The area is all teak and bamboo forests.
The railroad of the time stretched from Bombay northeast to the east side of the Taptei River coming to a junction at Burhanpur in English held lands. This is where Fogg could have caught a train out of the forest to Calcutta. He could have sent a telegram from there to Bombay letting Harry know of his location too.

Day 4 - Reach Bombay after 3 days travel
Day 5 - 1 day in Bombay
Day 6 - Start 3 days traveling up the river
Day 9 - 1 day in hills to palace and rescue
Day 10 - Beginning of 6 days in cave, Rebecca woke on Day 15
Day 16 - Begins track through forest, 7 days in forest
Day 23 - Catch train to Calcutta
Day 28 - Reach Calcutta after 5 days on train
Day 28 - Leave on ship for 12 days to Hong Kong
Day 40 - Reach HK leave for Yokohama, 1-day trip
Day 41 - Start trip across Pacific to America
Day 62 - After 21 days at sea, arrive in San Francisco
Day 71 - Reach New York after 9-day train trip
Day 80 - Reach London after 9 days at sea on the Atlantic

Day 9 - Arrived at palace to rescue Rebecca
Day 12 - Arrives back at boat with Backster after 3 days in forest
Day 16 - Succumbed to illness after 4 days watching for Foggs
Day 23 - Woke up in Sura, the day before the first message from Fogg was sent.
Day 28 - Sent back to France after 5 days recovery on day before Foggs leave India
Day 33 - Arrives in France after 5 days travel. Spend 5 days at home recuperating
Day 38 - Leaves for London
Day 42 - Met with Chatsworth to find out the Foggs had left HK the day before
