The username and password from the old site won't work - it's a brand new site and you need to signup a username and password for this site. Go to the SIGNUP link on the left menu and follow the instructions. When you submit your new username and password, you will be sent a confirmation email. Replying to the email will activiate your login on the site.
Anyone with an internet browser can read the works on this wiki.
Any user who is authorized through the signup process may enter new works or edit their own works on this wiki by using the LOGIN function prior to creating new works or editing existing works.
Only readers who have registered with the wiki by acquiring a username and password and have used the LOGIN function during their browsing session can access the comment box at the end of each work to leave comments about a work.
Only the author of the work may change a work posted to this wiki by user their name and password. The administrators of the wiki reserve the right to edit any author's wiki pages without prior permission to fix code errors or to apply new applets - content will not be edited by the administrators of this wiki.
Any works of original fiction or non-fiction including characters or setting elements from the television series "The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne" are invited to be posted on this wiki. Crossovers of SAJV with other media or literary properties are permitted and encouraged.
Works that do not include characters or setting elements from the television series "The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne" should not be posted on this wiki.
Many of these works were originally posted on the SJJV - Secret Journals of Jules Verne and the SJJVA - Secret Journals of Jules Verne Adult Yahoo Groups. They were also posted to the original archive site of these groups, a wiki called The Book of Knowledge. This wiki is The Book of Knowledge - Mark II.
All authors have the right to remove their work from this wiki. The webmaster retains the right to remove works or prevent the posting of works that violate the terms of service of this web-hosting provider.
Accusations of plagiarism will be investigated by the wiki administrators on a case by case basis. If a work is determined to have been a plagiarized version of a work written by another person, the offending work will be removed from the wiki and the poster banned from posting future works to the wiki. If the charge of plagiarism is based on improperly reference material, the poster will be requested to post an accurate citation on the Story Menu noting the origin of the material being included.
At the bottom of each page, there's a counter that keeps track of page visits. We don't currently have page visit statitics per author, but can create it upon request.
If a reader uses their username and password to login to the site and the author has not removed the comment box function, readers can leave a comment on a story menu page or a series page.
